WHO WE ARE

Our mission is to eradicate poverty through community development.

We support communities through advocacy, fundraising and ultimately building necessities. We speak for those without a voice, stand up for the forgotten and bring hope to those who have lost it.

Our organization believes in three areas of development for projects. Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Healthy Hearts. While projects vary and communities grow in their own way, we feel these elements are crucial in any part of the world.

WHAT WE’RE ABOUT

01. HEALTHY MINDS

In Spring 2014 we completed a seven classroom schoolhouse partnering with Ghana Education Services. Books and materials are funded through donations and our Sponsor a Student Program.

02. HEALTHY BODIES

The Senase Project has grown from a focus solely on education to a realization that in order to truly help those children in Akatim, we need to focus on the community as a whole.

03. HEALTHY HEARTS

Rather than a model for each community applied unconditionally, we work with each project independently. We meet with community leaders and discuss what they need to enrich people’s lives.

HOW WE WORK

More than a word, ubuntu is the motto we live by.

It means I am because you are, but at The Senase Project, it’s more than a reminder of our connectedness. For our team and our partners, it’s a way of life.

We’re 100% volunteer based, which means our funds go to the people and projects that need them most. As members of the global community, we work with incredible people around the world to change lives for the better.

OUR WORK

Current projects are located in Senase, Ghana.
