Because of your generosity, we’ve been able to achieve incredible results and help advocate, enable, and change the lives of families in Ghana. Big or small, we take on projects in the most cost effective way possible in order to make every dollar count.
We want to show you Ghana first hand.

The Senase Project is a 501 (c)(3) organization, and our finances are available for download on our reports page. Our relationship with Archbishop Desmond Tutu helped get us off the ground, and in 2014 Forbes blog recognized us as a top small-nonprofit. Since then, we’ve seen incredible success. We’re 100% volunteer-based, and that means all of our donations go toward the people and projects that need them most. We are The Senase Project, working to eradicate poverty through community development.
AKATIM VILLAGE SCHOOL
Many children in rural Ghana have to make a choice between working to support their family and going to school. We don’t think that’s a choice any young person should have to make. Read about the Akatim Village School and how it’s grown from a project focused on education, to growing the community as a whole.
Kerosene lamps are the primary light source for many in the developing world. These lamps are expensive, cause health issues, and pollute the natural environment. Please join us in bringing clean energy to Akatim by giving a solar lamp through our partners at Solight Design.
SENASE MEDICAL CLINIC
This clinic was developed under the supervision of the Berekum District of Ghana Health Services, and the Ghana Ministry of Health. Services include immediate or emergency care, outpatient services, Malaria treatment, and prenatal care. To learn about healthcare, malaria, and more visit our Knowledge Base and explore Ghana.
SPONSOR A STUDENT
Our hope through this program is to provide financial support for students in need, for only $20 per month, to continue their education. For less than $1 per day, you can give more than a donation to a child of the Akatim Village School. You can take a student by the hand and tell them they are not alone. And that there is hope.
